Electric Air Powered Handpiece Maintenance Procedure

Clean the Chuck Mechanism.
A: Lubricate Chuck Mechanism with 1 drop of Lubricant.
(using Health Canada/FDA Approved Mineral Oil Lubricant)
B: Insert Chuck Brush into Chuck Mechanism.
C: Turn Chuck Brush in a circular motion, back and forth for 5 seconds.
D: Lubricate chuck mechanism with 1 drop of Lubricant; repeating Step A.
E: Run Handpiece (without bur) for 5 seconds to expel debris.
Chuck Brush is Reusable - Please Ensure Suitable Cleaning of Chuck Brush after Every Use.
Chuck Brush and all other Maintenance Tools can be found in the Our Products tab, under Accessories.
A: De-attach Electric Handpiece from Air Motor.
B: Wipe off parts with alcohol; never place any parts in an ultra sonic unit.
E: After Autoclaving the Handpiece, allow to cool gradually for 30 minutes to room temperature.
F: Repeat Steps A through D.
Lubricate and Clean the Handpiece.
C: Hold the Electric Handpiece up side down. The opening for the Air Motor should be facing upward. With an Aerosol Lubricant Spray, (as shown in photo) fill the Cavity with Lubricant.

D: While still holding the Handpiece up side down, Attach the Motor and the unit tubing to the handpiece and run for 30 seconds.

Make Sure your Handpiece is Well Lubricated.

Make Sure Autoclave Temperature is at Manufacturers Recommended Temperature (120c).

Do Not Subject your Handpiece to Any Heat above 132c/210f.

Do Not Lubricate a Hot Handpiece.

Make Sure Chuck Mechanism & Handpiece is Cleaned and Lubricated After Every Use.
